PetroMetriX Beacon 2000-II plus ™ NIR Analyzer
Now Available with 62.5 Fiber Optic Cable.

To keep pace with industry changes, PetroMetriX has modified its Beacon 2000-II plus to include the most widely used fiber optic cable.

The telecommunication-standard cable has a 62.5-micron core diameter. Many plants already use this cable for their information networks and have spare capacity already in place in the plant area.

The fiber connects the intrinsically  safe field units with the  Beacon 2000-II plus,   which is placed in the equipment room next to the control room. Up to 15 different field units installed anywhere in the plant can be hooked up to a single analyzer.

With the addition of 62.5 cable, Beacon 2000-II plus installation is simpler and faster than any other system. And the fiber optic multiplexer and other optical components are now available with shorter lead-time.
