Corporate Background
Modcon Systems at 2009 has acquired Petrometrix Ltd (Migdal Haemek, Israel) together with its affiliates Petrometrix Inc (Houston, USA).
PetroMetriX was founded in 1992 by Dr. Robert Buckwald (Chairman),
Dr. Dario Cabib (Director) and Dr. Ilan Sela (Director).
It was a subsidiary of CI Technologies Inc., a USA-based holding company which owned three
high-tech companies involved in the development of electro-optical systems for Defense,
Medical and Petroleum applications.
Mission Statement
PetroMetriX’ mission is to lead the NIR analyzer revolution for the
oil refining and petrochemical industries - replacing traditional analyzers with its new
Beacon technology.

PetroMetriX operates from two strategic locations, giving it worldwide coverage :
North, South and Central America are covered by the PetroMetriX Inc. Sales and Service Center in San Francisco,
California.
Europe and the Middle East are covered by the PetroMetriX
Ltd. Corporate Headquarters in Israel.

PetroMetriX has developed a strong patent position for various aspects of
its unique technology. It has received CE authorization, ISO 9001 Quality Assurance
certification and CSA for safety compliance.
